With this tire changer in your shop, you’ll end up saving a lot of time. With its tilt-back tower you’ll be able to operate different tire-and-wheel combos without needing to adjust the duck head. Stiff sidewalls won’t be a problem thanks to the swing-arm design with tower assist. RimGuard™ clamps extend 10”-30” for maximum versatility.

The ergonomic controls are conveniently placed to minimize excessive reaching, walking, or bending. The R76ATR includes other time-saving features such as a multi-profile traveling drop-center tool, top bead assist rollers, lower bead lifting disc, and a nylon non-marring wheel restraint device. Ranger designs their tire shop equipment to dramatically reduce effort, increase safety, and help minimize operator fatigue. A large 30” capacity turntable features adjustable, hardened-steel RimGuard™ wheel clamps.

The R76ATR is sporting a completely new and proprietary bead-breaker design which features bilateral pneumatic accelerators for super-fast bead breaker speeds in both directions. A 100% stainless steel cylinder body means no more worrying about moisture contamination from corrosion. This tire changer also features a multi-axis, adjustable blade for multi-angle tire capacity, a dual-flange axle which virtually eliminates blade flex and premature failure, as well as adjustable blade settings which help accommodate a larger variety of tire and wheel combinations.

This wheel balancer from Ranger optimizes wheel weight placements with its exclusive Laser-Spot™ technology. The laser lines will clearly indicate outboard and inboard weight placements for incredible balances within hundredths of an ounce.

The LS43B features Ranger’s 3D Data Entry technology, which means you’ll never have to manually input wheel parameters again. On average, it takes an ordinary tech an average of three seconds to retrieve the wheel diameter, wheel width, and offset distance from the balancer. Ranger’s extendable DataWand™ is capable of automatically retrieving all outer wheel information.

Ranger’s Digital Sensor Technology is highly accurate and features a 16-digital signal processor and single-chip technology which increases productivity and offers unprecedented speed and accuracy, especially during the sophisticated balance and weight placement techniques which are required for new high-tech OEM and aftermarket wheels.

Once you lower the spacious wheel hood, the LS43B laser balancer spins into action, delivering precise outboard and inboard weight placements in mere seconds. You’ll be able to choose the option that best suits your specific wheel profile, such as static, dynamic, and ALU weight placements.

RL-8500

The high-quality RL-8500 combination brake lathe utilizes independent DC servo motors to control the cross-feed and spindle feed drives, thereby eliminating the need for complex mechanical gear boxes and transmissions that you’ll normally find on mechanically-driven brake lathes.

The design of the RL-8500 was introduced nearly 40 years ago, and since then it has become a favorite of brake technicians everywhere. It’s simple, it’s quick, and it just keeps running. It features Ranger’s twin-cutter tool head with micrometer dials and quick drum-to-rotor changeover. The adjustable speed settings allow you to quickly rough-cut rotors or slowly give them a fine, smooth cut. An infinitely adjustable spindle-feed gear box provides variable speed settings, providing finish cuts which meet or exceed factory specs. Ranger’s negative rake tooling yields one-pass finish cuts every time, and the standard 1” arbor delivers a multitude of tooling and adapter choices from either Ranger or other aftermarket suppliers.

Due to the fact that the RL-8500 doesn’t include gear-driven mechanical drives and variable-speed transmission devices, it has a significantly reduced service and repair cost over the span of the unit’s lifetime.
